 Faith left home to help herself and ended up in a truck stop diner working for Layla. Ryder has his sights on Faith and lots of secrets behind him. Neither one is the trusting sort yet they feel the age old pull that signifies here is my someone else. Even with the burdens Ryder carries they feel like they can beat the odds. Will they or will fate step in?

 While I found this story held my attention, I am not sure it is my kind of book. I do want to read the second book because the author did manage to pull me in and make me care what was happening with her characters, and I really would like to see more about Layla. I do understand that this book is setting the stage and I appreciate knowing where Faith came from and what happened with her, but somehow I am left a little flat. Maybe the second book will pull me out of the funk as I like Rose DeWallvin and the potential she possesses. I rated this book a 3.5.

About the Author-

WE…yes you read right. We are two separate individuals who met in a writing group on FB. In this group we dabbled in writing and hit it off, each liking the other’s strengths and complimenting the other’s weaknesses. When the opportunity presented to Downey to submit to a publisher she approached Greene to join her in the journey. Both with hectic lives they took turns writing, swapping ideas and chapters, thus creating their first book, Partners in Crime.

  From the first moment Dane saw Korah he was intrigued by the beautiful woman and wanted to meet her. On Halloween as Zorro he meets his Angel Eyes and she runs away from him after their encounter. So it starts: the pursuit of Korah and maybe the healing of both their damaged souls. As they try and prove themselves, they find that they do indeed care deeply about each other. Can they finally walk away from their damaged pasts and be together for the long haul?
 I love this as a boxed set, as I do love to read the stories all at once. Yep an impatient reader who truly hates to wait and has found box sets are awesome! Pick up these books they are well worth the read. Felicia Tatum is proving she is a master of the written word and makes you feel like you are in the story living right beside her characters. When you finish reading you can't help but feeling like the good times are over and you've just left your best friends. Such feels!!  Gail just wanted to prove Nessie didn’t exist, it would not only make her feel better but put away her dad’s death for her. She just didn’t have the childlike faith of others such as Flynn. With a feeling of “wrong” about Tom, she continues to help hoping that she was wrong, but yet knowing she was right. Her growing attraction to Flynn at first in comforting but quickly becomes an issue with new details coming into evidence. Can Gail overlook what she thinks she knows to go back and help continue look for Nessie?
 I had read Aubrie Dionne before so I willingly read for her now. I knew she was a talented lady and somehow I had forgotten I was going to stalk her. This story is a wonderfully written tale that makes you one with the landscape. You can walk in the woods, smell the water, and embrace the local color through her words. I loved every part of this book and will recommend it to others. I find I like the touch of mystery with a blooming romance, it makes for a good story. As we dive into this book Emma is bonded to two men and making a decision between the two just may break her. On the good side her friends from her former life are coming to visit and she plans on having some fun with them. She attempts to get to know Ethon better but the bond makes it impossible to be completely rational around him. She knows she loves Kade, sigh, we should all have this issue at least once. All too soon, everything is again falling apart and Emma needs to be the strongest she has ever been 
This series makes me happy, I know that’s an odd statement with the what is going to happen next, but it is just the way I feel. Cameo Renae grabs you and pulls you into the story, where you try and keep up with everything around you. I love to be in the story, it becomes personal and makes everything that much intense. Thank you Cameo for allowing me to read and review this book, I am happily awaiting the next.
